Outlaws and mercenaries, with hearts of gold deep down, fighting the good fight. Going up against the Alliance, and unafraid of the truly terrifying Reavers that stand in their way more than once, the crew of Serenity are the ultimate lovable band of misfits. That love is perfectly embodied in Nathan Fillions performance as Mal Reynolds. Theres a reason so many people dress up as him at conventions around the world, to say nothing of Fillion reprising the costume on Castle. Hes brought together this team of misfits and given them a home, a place to feel safe amongst family. And in a future governed by the ever-powerful authoritarian Alliance, that is no easy feat. They have justice on their side, willing to sacrifice everything for the sake of getting the truth about the Alliance out there. You can only hope that the stars might one day finally align for a sequel.
Movie / TV enthusiast with a DVD and Blu-ray collection bigger than I'd care to admit. If anyone is offering creative / furniture solutions to house them, I'm all ears.
