6. Lex Luthor
Although it's not as if we haven't seen Lex Luthor on the big screen before he has been portrayed by both Gene Hackman and Kevin Spacey respectively now that he has been alluded to in the current franchise (in the form of LexCorp logos in the background of major scenes), it is both highly expected and highly anticipated that he will appear in the new DC Cinematic Universe. Lex is, quite simply, one of the most famous, formidable and striking (what with that iconic bald head) villains in comic book history a megavillain, so to speak. He has masterminded some of the most intricate and devastating plots in DC Comics history and no Superman film franchise would be the same without him. He's a wealthy, megalomaniacal, industrialist and businessman of high intelligence and incredible technological prowess. He is also an adept hand to hand combatant, incidentally, which he is rarely given credit for. He's obviously a supporting character of Superman, but it would make a refreshing change to see a movie from his point of view. To see him build his empire and see his grudge against Superman gradually grow would make a great movie, undoubtedly.
