7. Cosmo
Despite being introduced as little more an Easter Egg in James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy, Cosmo was still amusing, but he was also just a dog in a space suit! There was no sign of his personality from the source material, but that could change if he were to be brought back in the not too distant future.
It wouldn't even be that hard to reboot the telepathic Russian space dog who serves as the Head of Security of Knowhere. He has proven to be an invaluable ally to the Guardians of the Galaxy, and the team meeting up with him back on Knowhere while they track Gamora does add up.
Marvel Studios could even cast an A-Lister to voice the unlikely hero and have some real fun with this.
His past in the MCU could certainly be referenced in some way (as he has kind of met the Guardians), but a CGI version of the character - with a voice this time around - is a must, and hopefully something which will be seen for the first time in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
