Alright, now there's no guarantee that he would have made the films a success in the same way that Harrison Ford did, but just look at the screen test above - the chemistry with Karen Allen is totally there, even if it takes a few seconds to adjust to Indy having a moustache. Rumours continue to persist that his Magnum PI bosses wouldn't let him out of his contract and that's why he had to turn it down, but it's not something he seems keen to talk about.
