10 More Upcoming Movies That Are In Big Trouble

9. Project Artemis

After proving they possess the sort of unquestionable chemistry capable of catapulting a film to success over the course of their time within the MCU, bringing in Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson to star in Apple's incoming Project Artemis seemed like a bit of a no-brainer for this space flick.

And having Jason Bateman come along for the ride as the high-profile movie's director looked like an intriguing call, too. But then things started to unravel a touch when the Ozark star parted ways with the space race feature over "creative issues".

Despite things being said to have been amicable when it came to that split, though, the search for a new director meant pushing the production back a touch. And then by the time Greg Berlanti, known for his work on Love, Simon, came aboard, Evans was ultimately forced to kiss goodbye to the project Apple acquired for $100 million due to those dreaded scheduling conflicts.

With Channing Tatum now stepping into the turbulent flick alongside a still-starring and producing Johansson, it remains to be seen whether this particular space project will be worth the wait or whether the reported "romantic comedy set against the backdrop of the 1968 Apollo 11 moon launch" will be an investment too far for the tech giant.
