Allow me to be diplomatic. There are a great many of us particularly over a certain age who simply dont get the appeal of Twilight. Maybe were not supposed to; maybe it really is just for 21st century teenagers, and anyone born before 1995 will never really understand. Well, to each their own, I say; while I personally dont see what fans take from the films, far be it from me to tell them theyre wrong. But even so, when the Cullen clan introduce Bella to their beloved pastime of playing baseball in a storm I am truly at a loss The whole going sparkly in the sunlight thing was hard enough to comprehend, but vampires who don full baseball garb and play that most All-American apple pie of sports? Just... why? The clothes and haircuts of The Lost Boys had already stolen enough dignity from the undead, do we really have to go the whole hog and defang them completely by turning them into Little Leaguers? Again I just dont get it.
