10 Movies You Didn't Know Were Connected
Hollywood is just one big tangled web.

Thanks to a certain Cinematic Universe that we won't mention, it seems like every film these days is part of a larger narrative thread or is connected to another movie in some other way.
Sequels, prequels, reboots, spin-offs, team-ups, all of these tropes and more are trotted out on the reg by studios in an attempt to create hype around a property and get some of that sweet, sweet franchise money.
Sometimes though, links between films can be a little more subtle.
Through character cameos, shared settings, or even smaller details than that, a single director can create connections between their works. Equally, a different director can pay homage to something that has inspired them by including a reference to it in their own film.
We've got ten pairs of movies coming up that all have at least one thing in common.
You do have to put some work in to make some of the following examples work, but others are 100% real, as confirmed by those who worked on the movies.
So get your red string out and start making a corkboard, because we've got some lines to draw and some connectuions to make.
10. Tangled And Frozen
There's a whole big theory out there about how all the different Disney and Pixar films intertwine with one another, but if we covered all of that stuff, we'd be here for the rest of time.
Instead, let's focus on two majorly successful princess movies for the House of Mouse - 2010's Tangled and 2013's Frozen.
Based on the stories of Rapunzel and The Snow Queen respectively, Tangled and Frozen both gave the world iconic characters, stories, and songs and are among some of the most beloved Disney movies from the 21st Century.
They also exist within each other's worlds.
At the beginning of Frozen, Princess Anna excitedly wanders through the streets of Arendelle as her subjects gather for the coronation of her sister as Queen. If you look closely, you can see that among the well-wishers and tourists are none other than Rapunzel and Flynn Rider from Tangled.
Rider's face is obscured, but Rapunzel's is there for all to see. She even has her brunette hair from the end of the film.
Like we said, there are many theories as to how the events of the two movies are linked, but, even if you don't want to read those, this is still a nice easter egg.
