The "Bombshell" line of statues and variant covers featured DC Comics' most popular heroines reimagined in a 1940s-era pinup style, and Harley Quinn getting that treatment was met with an overwhelmingly positive response from comic book fans. The make-up, goggles, and costume design are all very unique, but still pay homage to much of the character's classic colours and general design. Could this work on the big screen, however? It would certainly be easy enough to incorporate elements from this costume, and it's not uncommon for many women to wear clothes which are heavily inspired from the fashions of the 1940s and '50s. Giving Harley this very unique appearance would help to single her out and they could even find an interesting way to incorporate this style into her backstory. It depends very much on the tone of the DC Cinematic Universe, so is probably unlikely.
