So many people have complained that Bruce Banner's ability/inability to control his transformation was depicted inconsistently in The Avengers - but that simply isn't the case at all. When he first transformed into the green monster in the ensemble offering, he was both under the influence of what is now pretty much confirmed as being the Mind Stone and a victim of surprise trauma caused by Hawkeye blowing up a big segment of the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier that he was on at the time. The fact that he transformed voluntarily later in the movie only served to confirm that, under normal circumstances (and that bit's important), he has full control over the monster within him. He only transformed involuntarily earlier in the movie due to extenuating circumstances. So there you have it - ten things people always get wrong about the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
