10. He'll Be Funny

As amazing as Heath Ledger's take on The Joker was in The Dark Knight, it was still very different to the comic book version of the iconic villain (similar to most of the Batman characters who appeared in the Nolanverse for that matter). For starters, the Clown Prince of Crime just wasn't that funny... at least not in the traditional sense of the word anyway! Jared Leto on the other hand apparently wants to deliver a "more cerebral and comedic" take on The Joker, making his take the defining version for fans. That obviously means he won't attempt to imitate either Ledger or Jack Nicholson, and while The Joker is far from a comedy character, him having a little more wit would be much closer to the comic books.
