10 Worst CGI Moments In DCEU History
2. Enchantress - Suicide Squad
Fans could sit and talk for hours, potentially even days and weeks, about the things wrong with Suicide Squad, but the focus of this particular entry is Enchantress. June Moon’s ancient alter ego served as the chief antagonist for the movie, and was not well received to say the least.
Her backstory and role in the movie were poor, as was her motivation, but it was the character’s design and aesthetic that cemented her legacy, not just as one of the weakest DCEU villains to date, but a laughing stock at that.
The character had so much potential, particularly with Cara Delevingne bringing her to life, but she was stuck behind so many unnecessary special effects that it became impossible for her to put in any kind of strong performance.
When she finally took back her heart, she became engulfed and surrounded by a strange pulsing energy, with tentacles reaching out to Amanda Waller for some reason. This and her down right weird, jerking movements took away any threat that she may have otherwise posed. Who could possibly be intimidated by someone that looked as silly as this?
