3. The Teen Titans
Arguably the second most popular team in DC Comics, the Teen Titans are - as the name would suggest - usually composed of teenage superheroes. An extremely successful monthly title, the Teen Titans have a number of different incarnations - the most popular of which tend to include younger family members of or characters strongly associated with more established, adult heroes. These include Robin (Batman's sidekick), Wonder Girl (Wonder Woman's younger sister), Aqualad (Aquaman's sidekick), Kid Flash (Flash's sidekick), Speedy (Green Arrow's sidekick) and Superboy (Clark Kent's cousin). The Titans are an incredibly formidable team and have come up against some of the toughest opponents in the DC Universe - the Sinestro Corps, the Brotherhood of Evil, Lex Luthor, Deathstroke and the Black Lantern Corps. It would make for one hell of a cool spin-off which could target either a younger audience or the bog standard comic book movie fan, depending on the tone.
