Why It Might Save Hollywood: Last year's 10 Cloverfield Lane felt like a confident thumb of the nose to Hollywood's current obsession with convoluted, hopelessly intertwined cinematic universes, by instead going the looser anthology route to tremendous success.

God Particle is the third entry into the Cloverfield series and seeks to further expand its scope while avoiding blockbuster bloat thanks to a sensibly reined-in budget.

The cast includes Daniel Bruhl, David Oyelowo, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Chris O'Dowd and Elizabeth Debicki to sweeten the deal, and with J.J. Abrams serving as producer, you can bet the marketing campaign leading up to release is going to be both mysterious and fun.
