2015 has been one of the biggest years in the history of cinema (as evidenced by the outrageous number of movies gunning for a billion-dollar box office), and 2016 isn't looking to be a slouch either. Reboots, long-awaited sequels and movies set to break the video game adaptation curse are all deep into production and preparing for release next year, and of course, whenever a movie's shooting, someone will be on hand to sneak a sly picture for the Internet to salivate over. Whether shocking character reveals, bada** action shots, sexy snaps or simply an amusingly out-of-context moment that'll never make it into the final film, these behind-the-scenes images should get you stoked for these 15 upcoming movies, regardless of what your gut says about each film overall. Here are the pics fresh off the set, the images the studios in some cases don't want you to see, the 15 best behind-the-scenes images from 2016's biggest movies...
15. Chris Hemsworth As The Receptionist - Ghostbusters
Though there are plenty of reasons to be skeptical about the new Ghostbusters movie, writer-director Paul Feig appears to have gotten one thing right: the casting of the all-female Ghostbusters' new receptionist, Kevin, played by Chris Hemsworth. It's an extremely amusing subversion of Annie Potts' Janine Melnitz from the original movies, taking a hunky A-list actor and essentially transforming him into a huge cinematic nerd. It didn't take long for the first image of Hemsworth in character to show up, riding a bike and curiously being kitted out in a uniform that suggests he won't be stuck behind a desk for the entire movie (which, given his physical prowess, would be a huge waste of talent anyway). Naturally Feig lambasted the widely-circulated image, as it was taken on a closed set and released without permission, but in honesty it probably did some good PR for a movie that's sorely in need of it, given how many people don't think it should even exist.
