10. The Flash
After a couple of hit-and-miss (and overly bloated) seasons, The Flash figured out a successful model that helped it reclaim some of its former glory in its sixth offering - and that was to split the season into two completely separate arcs and bridge them together with Crisis On Infinite Earths. And after pulling it off with the first half in the fall of last year, the show successfully managed to do it again earlier this year with the back 10 episodes.
Season 6 wasn't its best, but its new approach revitalised the show, tightening up a number of the issues that had plagued it for years and presenting it with two compelling narratives that never got the chance to get stale.
In this case, the Eva McCulloch/Black Hole saga opened a can of conspiracies, espionage and alternate dimensions that wouldn't have been out-of-place on a '70s spy drama. And the introduction of a well-layered Mirror Master has presented the show with a second chance of producing a solid non-speedster villain (after successfully pulling it off with Bloodwork last year).
