4. Doctor Doom (Fantastic Four Reboot)
The Fantastic Four reboot is all but confirmed for a 2015 release and it desperately needs an improvement on the last attempt at a big screen Doctor Doom. The previous Fox Studios movies, and indeed Julian McMahon who played Doom, absolutely killed the character. Given that Doom is arguably the single greatest supervillain of all time, this was nothing short of criminal. If, as should be expected of any Fantastic Four story, Doctor Doom has a part to play in the reboot, he must be done correctly. Doom is a formidable, arrogant super-genius with unparalleled preparatory abilities, a powerful suit of technological armour and a mastery over the mystic arts. He must not be a wimpy pretty boy like the previous movie portrayal. My choice would be to forget an origin story and introduce him as an established character, with Jeremy Irons taking up the role.
