Marvel's journey is far from done in 2021, as yet another movie has been announced to arrive late in to the upcoming year. The Eternals will introduce a collection of new superheroes in to the franchise, moving to a new perspective during and after the events of the epic conclusion Avengers: Endgame.

The narrative will follow alien beings of the same name as the title, who have been living in secret on Earth for many thousands of years, banding together to fight their mortal enemies the Deviants and forcing themselves to come out of hiding.

The Eternals are said to have been protecting our planet without us knowing, shaping history and the civilisations that have come to be.

A few A-list cast members have since been announced to join the movie, including Richard Madden and Angelina Jolie. Many Marvel fans expect this movie to be the introduction of the X-Men and mutants, after Marvel claimed the rights to the characters and franchise recently.

This Eternals is looking at an October 2021 release date, but little information has been given to whether filming has concluded or continued in the current situation.
