20 Most Iconic Villain Introductions In Movie History

20. Keyser Söze - The Usual Suspects

Bryan Singer might be best known to movie fans around the world for his assured and smart handling of some of the X-Men comic book movie adaptations, but he proved himself to be capable of delivering intelligent and gripping movies way back in 1995 with The Usual Suspects. This crime drama went from fairly low key beginnings to becoming one of the most respected thrillers of the last few decades, not least on account of its superbly executed twist. Spoiler alert ahead: The Usual Suspects really works on account of the fact that the audience spends the entire movie with the villain's mastermind right under their noses, as Roger "Verbal" Kint (Kevin Spacey) tells his story to a detective after a massacre on a ship. The final reel twist revealing that Verbal is in fact criminal mastermind Keyser Söze is one of the greatest in movie history. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYXXhn9fMYs
