In a rather bizarre moment, the original Alien script called for the Xenomorph to be quite sexual in its nature, and to even have voyeuristic tendencies, especially when stalking the female crew members.

According to director Ridley Scott, there was originally a scene in which the Alien would fixate on the anatomy of Sigourney Weaver's Ripley, and would even begin to touch itself as it stared, comparing its own body to hers. Rather sensibly the scene was cut.
