The Pitch... Michael Keaton plays an actor, famous for portraying an iconic superhero, who struggles to mount a Broadway adaptation of Raymond Carver's What We Talk About When We Talk About Love. In the days leading up to opening night, he battles his ego and that of his leading man and attempts to recover his family, his career, and himself. Plus Points The talent, from director Alejandro González Iñárritu through Michael Keaton (who needs more work,) Ed Norton, Emma Stone and Zach Galifianakis among others. And of course, Keaton going back to his superhero roots (sort of) has got to be eye-catching. The Reservations... Iñárritu isn't exactly known for his sense of humour, or commitment to light-hearted storylines, given that he made Biutiful most recently.
