8. Alien 3
Say cheeeeeeese. Not only does the posing itself betray the villainous credentials of the xenomorph, but the proximity of Sigourney Weaver's cheesy grin makes it look like the alien is actually smiling, which will forever ruin how you watch the film. With this new contextual revelation, perhaps the xenomorphs were just misunderstood, wanting some intergalactic friends, but equipped only with a menacing smile and no other communication tools, and lumbered with the clumsy violence of Lenny from Of Mice And Men?
7. A Nightmare On Elm Street
And continuing the theme of villains posing playfully, we have the least cool image of Freddy Krueger on the internet - which is quite some feat considering Robert Englund's very obvious happiness to make a fool of his most iconic character creation (perhaps his only memorable one at all?) The pose, the sunglasses and the boombox combine as a trifecta of awkwardness to rob Freddy of all of his horror cred. But you get the feeling Englund couldn't care less.
