In a world filled where you constantly receive bad news about terrorist attacks and murders, it's difficult to have faith in your fellow humans. But as long as there is evil, there is going to be good to fight it and doing good is harder than doing evil things; because you have a conscience. So even when you do help out your fellow man with a selfless good deed, you're still going to feel as though you could have done more.
