The relationship between adults and children is often explored in Hollywood movies - and is indeed the focal point of some of them. Whether it's a heart-warming buddy movie in which a kid befriends an adult, a cheeky kid trying an adult's patience or anything in between, the interactions between the young and the old often lead to very entertaining scenes, one way or another. The majority of the time in the world of movies, however, kids and grown-ups don't get along, and movies are littered with youngsters getting one over their elders (and vice versa) - and that's the theme of this article. Let me stress that I'll be focusing on (relatively) light-hearted examples here, rather than the dark subject of child abuse in film. Here are five examples of adults being nasty to kids in movies (and five examples where the kids fight back), starting with the adults...
