Earlier this week, it was revealed that season two of Daredevil is going to premiere on Netflix the same day that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is released in cinemas. While Warner Bros. backed down from Marvel once before by moving their movie away from May 6th to avoid Captain America: Civil War, it's now far too late for them to run from March 25th in a similar way. Inevitably, there's already a lot of speculation about what kind of an impact this move will have on Batman v Superman's opening weekend, as you have to believe that a lot of people are going to be staying at home to binge-watch Daredevil, especially after the critical acclaim and record breaking viewing figures the first season received. Marvel are offering those who are already paying for Netflix every month the chance to sit in the comfort of their own home to watch thirteen hours of new MCU content, and that is definitely going to hurt Zack Snyder's Justice League prequel. As soon as this news hit, social media started blowing up with fans arguing about which of these should be a priority on the weekend of March 25th, and it's fair to say that there's a divide growing between the Marvel and DC camps. However, regardless of which brand you choose to support, it's pretty obvious which one of these comic book adaptations should be your first port of call. That's Daredevil, and while you may not think that The Man Without Fear's adventures can top those of Batman and Superman, there are five reasons why they most certainly will.
