4. Michael Keaton
The last of the former Batman's on this list proves to be one of the most pertinent to the entire discussion. Before embodying Batman in the classic Tim Burton films Michael Keaton was somewhat of a comedic actor ad really not a name that would jump into your mind upon thinking of the legendary superhero. The very same outrage came his way back when he was chosen and as usual, sensationalistic fanboys ended up eating crow after the movie became a hit. The casting choice clearly worked but more importantly here is what Michael Keaton had to say on the situation when TMZ caught a hold of him;
He's gonna be great," said Keaton, repeating, "He's gonna be great!
You gotta wonder if Keaton sincerely meant that or was just trying to get the nuisance that is TMZ off of his ass but for now, we'll just chalk it up as another supportive Bat.
