9 Star Wars Spin-Offs That Should Be Next

One of the most enticing plot threads of the sequel trilogy thus far is that of the Knights of Ren. In the lead-up to The Force Awakens, Abrams spoke pretty extensively about them and Kylo's role as their leader. But then when the film was released, they were in it for all of five seconds and hardly even mentioned by name.

From what has been revealed in subsequent materials such as The Last Jedi and various canonical books and comics, it seems that the Knights are a direct result of Ben Solo's turn to the dark side. It is even hinted at in Last Jedi that the Knights are likely the 'dozen students' Luke says Ben took with him when he destroyed the temple.

But how did Snoke get in touch with the young Ben Solo and what really caused Ben to turn? These are questions yet to be fully explored. It has been inferred that there is a greater story here that has yet to be told, with novels such as Claudia Gray's Bloodlines establishing some key events that happened during this time period and Ben's involvement with them.

Adam Driver's performance as Kylo Ren has remained one of the most interesting villains of the last decade getting to see Driver deliver a performance showing Ben's full descent into the clutches of evil before he's aged out of the role would be oh-so-fulfilling.
