Bullock wins

Best Actress. Forest Whitaker tells Sandra Bullock she is about to win the Best Actress Oscar, basically. I like her as a personality and she has a good list of roles on her CV, but man - this wasn't hers to win here. Not by a long shot. Helen Mirren for The Last Station. The kind of nomination Meryl Streep so often gets. "We know how fantastic you are, but we don't want to give you an Oscar every year". Carey Mulligan SHOULD win the Oscar. An amazing performance. Peter Saarsgaard in his Green Lantern look - pretty cool. Gadaby Sidibe - good, but overshadowed by Mo'Nique in Precious. Tears, and she ain't gonna even win. Tucci tells Meryl she isn't going to win again. But then again he didn't win either, so they can mourn together I suppose. Sandra Bullock, of course. "Did I really earn this, or did I wear you all down?". True that. Carey will get one eventually, but this is Hollywood. So often they snub you, until THEY think you're ready.
