After faking his own death following an assassination attempt by the titular Winter Soldier and the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D, Nick Fury went underground - even going as far as to burn his signature eye patch and have a grave put in place for himself (a grave with a very cool Pulp Fiction reference on it, incidentally). Fury stated that he was heading to Europe to track down HYDRA agents, but what does this mean for his future contributions to Marvel movies? Will he help to reform S.H.I.E.L.D. and carry on as normal? Will he get his own movie as a vigilante agent? Will he focus on guiding the Avengers in their upcoming challenges? We will have to wait and see.
