Chris Klein Officially Back For AMERICAN REUNION

Will reprise his American Pie role when shooting begins May 24th

Chris Klein's reps have told People Magazine that the 32 year old actor has officially agreed to star in American Reunion, Universal's 'getting the band back together from American Pie' movie. The actor who starred in American Pie 1 & 2 as Chris "Oz" Ostreicher had been in talks to return for a few weeks and now joins Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott, Alyson Hannigan and Eugene Levy who are all officially back and talks well underway with Thomas Ian Nicholas, Tara Reid, Chris Klein, Mena Suvari (former girlfriend character to Klein) and Jennifer Coolidge to return. There's still no word on whether Shannon Elizabeth will be back. Harold & Kumar creators Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg€™s script which they will direct revolves around a 10 year high-school anniversary and also Alyson Hannigan's character's marriage and child with Jason Biggs€™ character, the latter who has become the subject of lust from a new hot neighbour (role currently uncast). Universal insiders refer to the movie as 'American Pie 4', as it's the fourth film in the series released theatrically after countless straight-to-dvd spin-offs and sequels. Shooting begins on May 24.
