Christian Bales on Justice League

Justice League of America movie is happening, people. That sucker is moving like a freight train and not even Bryan Singer can stop it! Some fanboys are bound to be up in arms over this, but frankly I'm excited, purely because Superman Returns wasn't the Superman movie I was hoping for. A George Miller helmed JLA film could potentially deliver some edge-of-your-seat comic book action but with some substance to back up the flash. Ryan Reynolds seemingly wants in on the action but according to IESB, who've been junketing 3:10 to Yuma, Christian Bale looks almost certain to drop out. How's this for unenthusiastic:
IESB: Are you doing Justice League after TDK? Bale: No IESB: Have you been approached for Justice League? Bale: No IESB: How would you feel about the studio recasting Batman for Justice League? Bale: It€™d be better if it doesn€™t tread on the toes of what we€™re doing, though I feel that it would be better if it comes out after Batman 3.
Bale is an excellent Batman, but if the rumours surrounding this turn out to be true, then this version of Batman is younger than the one Bale plays and wouldn't really mesh with the world Christopher Nolan has created. It's looking likely that both Batman and Superman will get recast for this picture which will allow Warners to establish a fresh film continuity from which they hope Flash, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern will shoot off into their own franchises. If anyone thinks two different Bat/Supermen is a bad idea then it's worth noting their are currently two actors playing Superman if you include Smallville and back in 1983 there were two James Bonds. So who would you pick to play the World's Finest? Given that the studio seem to want younger actors, I'd go with Ryan Gosling as Batman and previous Superman runner-up Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel. What are your suggestions?

Will Reynolds hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
