20. Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings

After the events of both Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, Phase Four is set to shift focus onto a handful of shiny, new characters in the MCU.

This will first come into play with Shang-Chi. Though the Ten Rings have been ever-present in the MCU, after debuting in Iron Man, the titular hero will make his big screen debut in 2021, and bring with him a side of the franchise we have never seen before.

Releasing just five months later than originally intended, the movie will see Simu Liu bring to life the Chinese martial art master, and with this comes the opportunity to celebrate the Chinese culture in a similar way to how Black Panther brought African culture and heritage to the forefront of the franchise in 2018.
