Extended Ferris Bueller 'Matthew's Day Off' Super Bowl Ad is Online

Watch complete 2 minute and 20 second extended version of the Super Bowl commercial & spiritual sequel to Ferris Bueller's Day Off!

Following on from the tease that got the whole of the internet talking, Honda has now finally released the complete 2 minute and 20 second extended version of the Super Bowl commercial 'Matthew's Day Off', a spiritual sequel to Ferris Bueller's Day Off starring an adult Matthew Broderick. Watch the video below and tell us what you think and look out for all those Ferris Bueller easter eggs... The advertisement features Broderick bunking off a day from making movies to ride out with his new 2012 Honda CR-V. The idea for the ad is to promote the Honda CR-V's 'Leap List' campaign, which encourages people to get out and do all the things they wanted to do. The ad was directed by The Hangover director Todd Phillips, who adds a considerable paycheck to his already huge 12 months from making The Hangover II and with Warner Bros knocking down his door right now to make a third. What did you make of the Honda ad? Was it worth it's wait in Gold or is it just simply not as cool as what a Ferris Bueller sequel could be?
