Fifty Shades Darker Trailer Breakdown - 18 Things You Need To See

1. The Trailer Gets The Release Date Wrong (Again)

Fifty Shades Darker Valentine S Day
Universal

The first movie was marketed as released on Valentine's Day despite the fact it actually came out the day before on February 13th. Well, Universal have pulled the same trick again this time, but worse.

The Darker trailer again announces a Valentine's Day release...even though it actually hits cinemas four days earlier on February 10th. While the first movie's astonishing box office proved that the weird release date marketing had no impact on its success, it's possible that Universal may have the movie sitting around in cinemas for four days before anyone actually realises it's out, which is just super strange from a business perspective.

On the other hand, those four days will give ladies' boyfriends time to see John Wick: Chapter Two and The Lego Batman Movie, which release the very same weekend.

What did you think of the Fifty Shades Darker trailer? Excited? Terrified? Amused? Shout it out in the comments!
