George Miller will make MAD MAX 4 in Anime

He couldn't convince Mel Gibson to return to the character, so Aussie director George Miller will make a fourth MAD MAX movie animated. 1033069mad-max-beyond-thunderdome-soundtrack-posters 3-D Anime to precise, and Miller wants to make sure we get the word "anime" in his interview with MTV...

"The anime is an opportunity for me to shift a little bit about what anime is doing because anime is ripe for an adjustment or sea change. It€™s coming in games and I believe it€™s the same in anime. There€™s going to be a hybrid anime where it shifts more towards Western sensibilities. Kurosawa was able to bridge that gap between the Japanese sensibilities and the West and make those definitive films".
Kurosawa... Miller that is some high standard. The plan seems to be to make a tie-in video game that will be released at the same time as the anime flick. He is working on that with the game director of GODS OF WAR 2. Gibson won't be involved in either. A Japanese MAD MAX... weird. via - /film
