GREEN LANTERN shoots down under with $150 million

The budget is set according to Warner Bros. They are using $150 million from the fortune they made from The Dark Knight and ploughing that into Green Lantern. The Hollywood Reporter say shooting will begin in the Summer down in Sydney Australia, at Fox Studios. The reason for the Australia shoot being that the $150 million will a stretch a lot further down under because of the drop of the Australian dollar and a 15% location rebate from the Aussie federal government. Martin Campbell (Goldeneye, Casino Royale, The Mask of Zorro) directs from t.v. writer Greg Berlanti's script. The movie is currently set to hit theatres in Dec. 17th 2010. But we still have no Green Lantern... though I don't think you can go wrong looking at the Enterprise for who it may be (Chris Pine or the young Anton Yelchin).
