Half Life Movie: 7 Things J.J. Abrams Must Get Right

1. G-Man Must Appear

Though the film shouldn't include Gordon, it should definitely include the primary antagonist, the thorn in his side who is G-Man, the mysterious figure who appears briefly throughout the original game in creepy fashion, only to arrive at the tail end and present us with a choice - to join his side or die. While it might be just too damn predictable to end the movie the same way, his presence needs to be felt in some capacity, even if it's just a fleeting tease after the credits. Furthermore, it's important that they cast the role right; much like Metal Gear Solid's Solid Snake, G-Man has an extremely distinctive voice that audiences will want to hear in the movie, but if the likeness of the voice actor isn't there, what can be done? Dubbing the voice actor's lines over a more visually representative actor would prove troublesome, so Abrams will have to come up with another solution altogether. What do you think of Abrams and Newell's announcement? What would you like to see in the Half-Life movie? Let us know in the comments below.
