We've already seen this story played out by Natalie Portman and Aston Kutcher in
No Strings Attached already but hey, how many times do we see rom-com scenario's played out endlessly year in and year out and still rake in a gazillion dollars in revenue? Will Jane Popcorn even notice they have paid to see this already? Starring
Justin Timberlake and
Mila Kunis, this raunchy sex comedy titled
Friends With Benefits (coincidentally the same original title No Strings Attached had) - the scenario once again finds two attractive friends who decide to get over their horniness by having regular, emotion free sex with one another... until of course one or both of them develops feelings. The movie seems to play to exactly the same tone as No Strings Attached, though maybe the jokes are slightly and I mean ever so slightly smarter. Here's a new international trailer (apologies for the quality) that is our best glimpse yet at the film;
Richard Jenkins once again looks to pop up in a rom-com and steal the show (why does he keep finding himself in these movies?) and further support comes from
Woody Harrelson, Patricia Clarkson and in brief cameo's (probably little more than what is shown)
Emma Stone and
Andy Samberg feature as the lead's respective exes. Directed by Easy A's
Will Gluck, see Kunis and Timberlake pretending to have sex on July 22nd, 2011 (U.S.) or Sept. 2nd (U.K.)
