Jamie Bell & Tilda Swinton Eyeing Bong Joon-ho's Snow Piercer

Chris Evans should lead the film that follows a “train full of travelers who struggle to co-exist” as they try to cling on to their old ways in a post-apocalyptic world covered in snow and ice.

Jamie Bell and Tilda Swinton are eyeing roles in Snow Piercer, Korean director Bong Joon-ho's (The Host, Mother) Hollywood debut which we recently heard has Chris Evans close to signing on for the lead role. Snow Piercer is an adaptation of the French graphic novel Le Transperceneige and follows a €œtrain full of travelers who struggle to co-exist€ as they try to cling on to their old ways in a post-apocalyptic world covered in snow and ice. There is no word on what specific roles Bell and Swinton are circling but presumably they are fellow train travelers. Chan-wook Park (Oldboy, Sympathy For Mr. Vengeance) is producing at Moho Films and co-wrote the script with Bong Joon-ho. The plot is still rather vague for this one but we are extremely interested in this project by the nature of the talent involved. We heard on Saturday that the project was €œalready drawing the attention of handful of top-tier Hollywood talent" and by the two new additions who looks close to signing on, those reports weren't kidding. Filming begins in March for a 2013 release. source - variety
