8. The JLA Have a Greater Range of Power Sets
Im not saying that The Avengers dont have an awesome range of abilities, but when you break it down, most of them are fairly similar. Iron Man can fly and shoot various rays and projectiles (plus hes super smart); Thor can fly and summon lightning; Captain America has super-strength and a lions heart; Hulk, whos power is admittedly unique, attains Super-strength and invulnerability when he changes. A great range, but in my honest opinion, its topped by the Justice League. Superman can fly and has Super-strength and invulnerability (as well as a host of other powers); Batman is just man of course, but his mind and spirit are beyond reasoning and his gadgetry is awesome; the Flash has super-speed (and a slew of abilities that go along with it); Green Lantern can fly and create constructs through his power ring; Wonder Woman can fly too, and has super-strength and a lasso that makes whomever is bonded by it speak only truth. And these are just the main guys; who knows exactly who will feature in the final Justice League script. But with such a wide range of power-sets to choose from, I argue that the set-pieces in Justice League could easily be more varied, more innovative and more unexpected than those presented in The Avengers.
