Kung Fu Panda 3 Has A New Trailer

Grab a stick of bamboo and enjoy.

A third and final trailer for Kung Fu Panda 3 has been unleashed by 20th Century Fox, and it looks like good fun. The majority of it is similar footage to what we've seen before, but there are a few new gags in there which work really well and sufficiently entice. The plot this time out sees Po (Jack Black) meeting his father (voiced by the welcome addition of Bryan Cranston), whilst going up against supernatural villain Kai (JK Simmons - again, very welcome). You can really hear the enthusiasm for the material in both newcomers' vocal performances. See for yourself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaCh2j7__M4&feature=youtu.be Black is also joined on vocal duties by returning cast members Dustin Hoffman, Angelina Jolie Pitt, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu and more. Kung Fu Panda 2 debuted in 2011 to less-glowing reviews than the first instalment, but not by a large margin. It also made less money domestically, yet a pinch more worldwide, necessitating this third instalment. From what I can see, this third entry looks to be an improvement over the previous film, and could prove to be another middle-of-the-road success for Dreamworks Animation, at the very least. The CGI 'toon market is getting more and more crowded out there every year, and with Pixar seemingly back on track with their 'A' game (in regards to Inside Out, mostly), Dreamworks are going to have their work cut out for them. Kung Fu Panda 3 is released on 29 January 2016 in the US and 11 March in the UK.
