Marc Forster will DIE BAD
Marc Forster, the German born director of QUANTUM OF SOLACE, is in talks with Universal to remake the 2000 Korean thriller DIE BAD. The original written and directed by Seung-wan Ryoo had a four short film structure which told the rise and fall of a gangster. The remake will be set in New York according to Variety. Brad Ingelsby, that insurance salesman working for his dad and still living at his parents flat who sold his first script for big money to Leonardo DiCaprio & Ridley Scott earlier this year has been hired by Universal to adapt this remake. He has really seen a meteoric rise in the industry over the summer. He is also attached to write a new movie for Todd Field (LITTLE CHILDREN) and is scribing the Warner Bros. adaptation of the DC Comics title SLEEPER for Sam Raimi and Tom Cruise. Forster, has already announced he was only interested in directing one Bond movie.
