McG turns INVISIBLE

Action helmer to give us his take on the INVISIBLE MAN legend.

The Hollywood Reporter say that Goyer isn't the only one looking to re-adapt THE INVISBILE MAN and a race could now be on to see which project gets off the ground first. They say McG (what a stupid name), the infamous three lettered director who brought us CHARLIE'S ANGELS is attached to direct a movie titled INVISIBLE over at Fox which sounds exactly like Wells' novel...

The project, from Warner Bros. TV and McG's Wonderland Sound & Vision, tells the story of a criminal at rock bottom who is given a second chance at life when a chemical compound makes him invisible.
Well THE HOLLOW MAN sucked and the invisible man in THE LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN was a little weak but most recently watching the first season of HEROES, Christopher Eccleston's few episodes I've enjoyed, though I wish they fleshed out his character a little more. There's so much depth you can go into with THE INVISIBLE MAN, let's hope McG or Goyer can explore it to the full.
