5. Tommy Lee Jones Doesn't Show Up Until The Third Act
Summit Entertainment
Despite being featured prominently in trailers, Tommy Lee Jones doesn't show up until long into the third act as Bishop's third and final assassination target, Max Adams.
Jones is clearly just here for the paycheck and barely gets to make a dent, having just a few minutes of screen time in the vain hope that his name on the marketing materials might give the film a box office boost with the dad crowd (but going by the preliminary numbers, that didn't work out).
The acting veteran does almost nothing of consequence here and his appearance is more baffling than anything, and that's the real crime: if you hire an actor of Jones' caliber, you'd better give him some kick-a** lines and have him do something memorable.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
