MIDNIGHT TRAIN has indeed lost it's MEAT and now it's THEATRICAL RUN!
It gets worse for those anticipating this cool sounding slasher flick. Lionsgate/Maple have yanked the film from theatres and it's going straight to DVD!
Horror-Movies.ca have confirmed that the upcoming adaptation of Clive Barker'sThe Midnight Meat Train will now be heading straight to DVD after Lionsgate/Maple Pictures yanked it from it's theatrical release next month. This comes just a few short days after we heard the title of the film had be changed to Midnight Train. The Clive Barker story is said to be horrific and bloody, and wasn't that exactly what Japanese helmer Ryuhei Kitamura delivered? If Lionsgate (a studio hardly know for their quality films) don't even think it's worth releasing - then this has to either be really shit - or someone on the production pissed somebody off!
