Note to Will Ferrell & John C. Reilly. MOVE ON!

So the trailer went live today for the latest Will Ferrell comedy Step Brothers and I have only one thing to say to Ferrell and his co-star John C. Reilly - MOVE ON! We are sick to death of these ridiculous comedies. Just like what happened to Jim Carrey five years ago, Ferrell's comedy persona has completely ran it's course at this point and he is just regurgitating the same old crap movie after movie. Is their really a difference between his new movie Semi-Pro and last year's flop Blades of Glory?

MOVE ON! And do you remember when John C. Reilly use to be great? You know, really, really great. When he would show up in movies like Magnolia, The Aviator and Gangs of New York and he would just be the coolest character actor on the planet. Do you remember Boogie Nights? Just awesome. But Walk Hard didn't work for him. Talladega Nights didn't. It's really about time he went back to being cool again. This looks so bad, I don't know quite how to put it into words. Both Ferrell and Reilly have so much cinematic potential it kills me to see them do something like this...

You can see the HD version here. The movie comes co-written by Will Ferrell and Adam Mckay... the director of Talladega Nights and Anchorman. The movie opens July 25th (U.S.) and September 26th (U.K.).
