Solo: A Star Wars Story - 10 Early Reactions You Need To See
5. There's Little Mention Of Emilia Clarke Or Woody Harrelson
Perhaps the most surprising thing from combing through the extensive social media responses to the movie is the almost complete lack of discussion surrounding Emilia Clarke's Q'ira and Woody Harrelson's Tobias Beckett.
One of the few prominent comments about Q'ira said she was "interesting" but little else, which is surprising considering she's clearly Han's love interest, has a presumably sizeable role in the movie and is played by a popular, on-the-rise actress.
Granted, a lot of fans were concerned about Clarke, who isn't exactly the most talented of actors, appearing in the movie, so perhaps her performance is merely adequate and there's not much else to say?
Harrelson is a little stranger, considering he's a terrific actor and it seemed like his role as Han's mentor would elicit some passionate responses. Could it be that Harrelson's only around for a Forest Whitaker-esque extended cameo and doesn't really get that much to do?
Wait and see, but don't get your hopes up for either of these performances or characters being all that significant, which is a shame.
