Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 10 Big Questions Raised By New Trailer

3. Just How Big A Role Does Lupita Nyong'o Have?

Lupita Nyong'o's mo-cap space-pirate Maz Kanata (and how awesome does that all sound?) is one of the characters whose been very much held back from the marketing campaign, along with Andy Serkis' Supreme Leader Snoke, Max von Sydow (we STILL don't know his character's name) and of course, Mark Hamill's Luke. However, we've certainly heard plenty from her. Her's was the main voice in the latest major trailer - with that epic "The Force, it's calling to you..." line - and she gets to deliver another key line here: "Hope is not lost today. It is found." All of this is setting Maz Kanata up to be a pretty wise character, and one who seems to know a fair bit about the galaxy and the Force. Just how big a part is she actually going to play in this movie? And what do those words above mean? They sound like it could be over someone dying, or a major battle lost, but at the same time someone discovering their true powers (i.e. being Force Sensitive).
