Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 8 Incredible New Set Photos You Need To See

A breathtaking behind the scenes look at the biggest movie of 2015.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is officially a smash hit, critically and commercially, and if the numerous box office records the movie has broken since its release in December prove anything, it's that there's a massive amount of interest in the franchise once more (no matter how many people claim the prequels were responsible for killing their childhoods). That's why everything from novelisations to a leaked script are being met with such a huge amount of curiosity as fans scramble to find out as much as possible about how The Force Awakens became a reality. The latest fascinating behind the scenes look at this return to a Galaxy Far, Far Away comes from the movie's Director of Photography, Dan Mindel. While working with J.J. Abrams to create the unique look of this Star Wars sequel, he took a number of photos which offer a rare insight into how the movie was made and what the cast and crew got up to between takes. If there were more of these, they'd make a lovely collection for a coffee table book, but for nowhere you will find the eight best pictures from Mindel's collection. All of those included here are by far the most amazing (and it should be noted, never before seen) photos from the Star Wars: The Force Awakens set, so prepare to have your minds blown...
