DC Fandome was, in many ways, the gift that just kept on giving. An attempt to give back to the DC fans who were disappointed that San Diego Comic-Con couldn't go ahead as usual this year, it featured trailers, sneak peeks and teases of some of the biggest upcoming DC films. But it was the main event that had everyone talking the most.

The final panel of the evening was reserved for The Batman as director Matt Reeves (along with a cameoing Robert Pattinson) gave fans an insight into what they can expect from the Caped Crusader's long-awaited reboot. The biggest talking point, however, was of course the trailer that closed the whole show.

Aside from a majestic teaser of Pattinson in the Batsuit and a heap of set photos, The Batman has remained something of an enigma in the weeks and months since its announcement. The FanDome trailer capitalised on that, shedding some light on it while allowing it to maintain much of that mystery that surrounds it.

There's a lot to think about after watching The Batman's trailer. With that in mind, let's delve right into it. But first, here's the trailer.
