And for those who were trying their best to avoid set photo spoilers for The Dark Knight Rises, it is now officially safe to turn back on your computer and visit film websites! At least for a short while at least. Filming in Pittsburgh has now wrapped on The Dark Knight Rises after almost a month in the steel city and the production of the third Batman movie is temporarily shut down as the cast & crew make their way some 2,400 miles west to Los Angeles where it's expected much of the shoot in the city will be on soundstages (though there will be some location filming so we aren't out of the set spoilerish images yet). Filming on Christopher Nolan's last Batman movie is now only a few months from wrapping in New York City around October-time. Doesn't time fly, eh? We'll miss it when it's over... but anticipation for the film itself and the heavy marketing should kick in around the New Year and next summer does look like it's going to be a hell of a ride. The image above is taken from the Pittsburgh Gazette where Nolan and Warner Bros thanked Pittsburgh for allowing them to temporarily use their streets as Gotham City! Just as I posted this, Coming Soon uploaded some new videos from the last few days of filming in Pittsburgh, one of which includes Anne Hathaway riding the Batpod as Catwoman.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHyJ0iHp9Tk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3_JTkGB_E8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_CXPWJ_cYs
